So we have been able to get out a few times and explore the hills around Beaver. There is a ski resort 15 miles up the road from us-Eagle Mountain, and a nice lake to go fishing-Puffer Lake. (The picture above has Puffer lake in the background-frozen of course). We can ride our ATV right from our house and be on a designated ATV route which goes for miles and miles. We have deer in the pasture behind our house every night and sometimes they venture out into the empty lots across the street to feed as well. There are resident turkeys in the area, elk, and a few coyotes. Horses and cows roam the pasture as well so we get an occasional horse at our back fence as well. Everyone here seems to have dogs too so Lily has made quite a few friends. Our neighbor actually trains hunting dogs so he always has a bunch in his backyard. There's a shihtzu that roams the neighborhood in the evenings that Lily loves to play with as well. We're so looking forward to the spring and summer to explore even more and take our little Dallen out with us as well!
